How It Started

Our Founder Daniel Atz first visited Florianópolis, Brazil's "Silicon Island" in 2023. Impressed by the local tech scene, he later decided to open an office of his company there. This revealed an untapped opportunity: a little-known path for international innovators to invest in Brazilian startups and gain permanent residency.

When Daniel decided to pursue the program himself, he hit a wall. Few lawyers had even heard of it. Over eight months, he navigated bureaucratic obstacles and misinformation, discovering why less than 20 foreigners successfully went through the program from 2021-2025.

In February 2026, Daniel secured permanent residency in Brazil through the startup investor pathway.

Realizing no one was bridging the gap between Brazil's verified startups and international investors, he decided to build the platform he wished had existed.
